How to correctly install HPG Helicopter H145/H160 in MSFS 2024 SU2

Although all currently available HPG helicopters were developed for MSFS 2020, with a little extra time, they will also work with MSFS 2024. If you've already flown MSFS 2020, converting your aircraft is easy. Simply follow the steps below for a smooth MSFS 2024 flight experience.

Step-by-step installation


1. Find your MSFS 2024 Community folder.

2. Copy the following folder (if applicable) from your MSFS 2020 Community folder to your MSFS 2024 Community folder:

  • hpg-airbus-h145

  • hpg-airbus-h145-ap

  • hpg-airbus-h145-usersetup

  • hpg-airbus-h160

  • hpg-airbus-h160-usersetup

🔄 Optimize the flight model for the MSFS 2024


For an MSFS 2024 optimized flight model we recommend you perform the following update.


1. Download optimized files


2. Installation of the optimized flight model files

  • Unpack *.zip files

  • Simply take the relevant file folders and copy and overwrite them into the relevant folder in your community folder.

WORKAROUND for H145 and H160 in MSFS 2024 SU2

For the H145:

  • Drag the layout.json file from the hpg-airbus-h145 directory to the downloaded *.exe file

  • If necessary, drag the layout.json file from the hpg-airbus-h145-ap directory to the *.exe file

For the H160:

  • Drag the layout.json file from the hpg-airbus-h160 directory to the downloaded *.exe file


Restart MSFS 2024
